Early detection is critical. Pay attention to consistent changes in these three key areas to help someone you care about.
Physical Signs
- Bloodshot eyes or abnormal pupil size.
- Sudden changes in appetite or sleep.
- Sudden weight fluctuation & poor hygiene.
- Unusual smells on breath or clothing.
Behavioral Signs
- Loss of interest in hobbies and school/work.
- Sudden change in friends and habits.
- Unexplained need for money or stealing.
- Engaging in secretive or suspicious behaviors.
Psychological Signs
- Unexplained changes in personality or attitude.
